Today, we remember.
Today, we came together at Bladen Community College for the 25th Anniversary Commemoration of 9/11, including a flag-lowering ceremony and a moment of remembrance.
On September 11, 2001, first responders climbed 110 flights of stairs — about 2 miles — to rescue victims. In honor of their courage and sacrifice, everyone is invited to participate in the 2-mile Walk to Remember on the BCC campus.
Walking the trail twice is equivalent to approximately 2 miles. The campus walk will remain open through September 24, and maps are available at the start of the route for anyone who would like to participate.
We remember the lives lost, honor the heroes who served, and reflect on the courage and compassion shown in the days that followed. We will never forget. ... See MoreSee Less
