TEAS DATES

TO ALLOW TIME TO PROCESS CANDIDATES, PLEASE ARRIVE A HALF HOUR EARLIER THAN TIME LISTED. 

  1. Wednesday, October 28: 12:00 pm until 4:30 pm
  2. Thursday, October 29: 4:00 pm until 8:30 pm
  3. Friday, October 30: 8:00 am until 12:30 pm
  4. Tues, November 3: 10:00 am until 2:30 pm
  5. Thursday, November 5: 4:00 pm until 8:30 pm
  6. Friday, November 6: 8:00 am – 12:00 pm

Ready to take the TEAS?

Traditional students can test in July or Novemberand again in early February.
Transitional students will test only in July or early November before their applications are due.

For those who want a comprehensive program, BCC’s Ed2Go offers TEAS PREP courses:
The TEAS Prep 1 & 2 courses will prepare you for the English and Language and/or Math and Science portions of the Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) exam. Through the hands-on lessons in this course, you will acquire the necessary skill sets that will allow you to master those sections of the exam. Plus, you will identify how to manage stress and prepare for your first clinical experiences. This course will help you develop a game plan for success on the TEAS exam.

NC LIVE has test prep materials available to students.

Students can access NC LIVE off campus by using the password unitpick, a password is not needed on campus.

For non-students, NClive is also available to North Carolina County Library card holders. Contact your local county library or go to NCLive.org for information on how to login.

Testing Center does offer independent (BCC proctor) and private room testing (*ATI online proctor).

Before taking the ATI TEAS Test, students must first:

  1. Review the BCC Nursing Admissions Checklist to ensure they meet criteria.
  2. Create a “TEAS Student Account” at the  ATI TEAS Website and, on the day of the test, know your username and password that was created.
  3. You will need to complete the BCC online Registration Form to reserve a testing date.

ON THE DAY OF THE TEST, students must:

  1. Report to Bldg. 8, Room 2.
  2. Bring a PICTURE ID & Credit or Debit Card to pay the $70.00 testing fee online.

The ATI TEAS exam contains multiple-choice questions in four section:

  1. READING: 45 questions 55 minutes
  2. MATH: 38 questions 57 minutes
  3. SCIENCE: 50 questions 60 minutes
  4. ENGLISH: 37 questions 37 minutes

TOTAL Questions: 170 questions – 209 minutes

Both TEAS Online Practice Assessments contain 150 questions similar to what students will see on the TEAS Test.  They are internet based and can be taken twice.
