FALL 2024 TEAS TESTING DATES

Tuesday, October 29th: 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm

Monday, November 4th: 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm

Tuesday November 5th: 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm

Wednesday, November 6th: 10:00 am – 2:00 pm

Tuesday, November 12th: 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm

Thursday, November 14th: 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm

Friday, November 15th: 8:00 am – 12:00 pm

To register for a test date, candidates use green registration button featured below to access our Sign-up Genius link.

A total of four (4) TEAS scores will be considered for admission. Applicants are eligible to take one test and submit one TEAS score for each of the following time periods:

The next TEAS Session starts from July 1, 2024 – December 31, 2024.
Due to our special June 2024 testing, there will be no July testing session. Instead, we are opening June to individuals who did not test during testing sessions #1 or #2 listed above.  We are holding an evening session on June 18th at 4:00 pm. Please see your advisor for any further assistance with registration.

Ready to take the TEAS?

Traditional students can test in July or November, and again in early February.
Transitional students will test only in July or early November.

For those who want a comprehensive program, BCC’s Ed2Go offers TEAS PREP courses:
The TEAS Prep 1 & 2 courses will prepare you for the English and Language and/or Math and Science portions of the Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) exam. Through the hands-on lessons in this course, you will acquire the necessary skill sets that will allow you to master those sections of the exam. Plus, you will identify how to manage stress and prepare for your first clinical experiences. This course will help you develop a game plan for success on the TEAS exam.

NC LIVE has test prep materials available to students.

Students can access NC LIVE off campus by using the password unitpick, a password is not needed on campus.

For non-students, NClive is also available to North Carolina County Library card holders. Contact your local county library or go to NCLive.org for information on how to login.

Testing Center does offer independent (BCC proctor) and private room testing (*ATI online proctor).

Before taking the ATI TEAS Test, students must first:

  1. Review the BCC Nursing Admissions Checklist to ensure they meet criteria.
  2. Create a “TEAS Student Account” at the  ATI TEAS Website and, on the day of the test, know your username and password that was created.
  3. You will need to complete the BCC online Registration Form to reserve a testing date.

ON THE DAY OF THE TEST, students must:

  1. Report to Bldg. 8, Room 2.
  2. Bring a PICTURE ID & Credit or Debit Card to pay the $70.00 testing fee online.

The ATI TEAS exam contains multiple-choice questions in four section:

  1. READING: 45 questions 55 minutes
  2. MATH: 38 questions 57 minutes
  3. SCIENCE: 50 questions 60 minutes
  4. ENGLISH: 37 questions 37 minutes

TOTAL Questions: 170 questions – 209 minutes
