Which FAFSA should I complete?
This is based on when you want to attend BCC. You must complete the FAFSA each academic year.
- Complete the 2026-2027 application if you want to attend during fall 2026, spring 2027, and/or summer 2027 semester. You will use your 2024 income and tax information.
Begin the process of securing financial aid by following these steps:
- Setup Your FSA ID
The FSA ID is used to log in to Federal Student Aid’s online systems, to fill out a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), and to sign legal documents electronically. It replaces the Federal Student Aid PIN. - Complete Free Application
BCC’s School Code is 007987. Use the Help section on the FAFSA site for guidance in completing your FAFSA. - Complete the BCC Admissions Application.
If you have questions prior to completing your BCC application, contact the Admissions Office at 910-879-5593 or 910-879-5587. - Submit Your High School and College Transcripts
Please submit all official high school, GED/Adult High School, and college transcripts to the Admissions Office. - Turn in All Forms
Complete all applicable forms outlined in documentation mailed to you from the Financial Aid Office.
Private Education Loan Applicant Self-Certification:
- Complete the Private Education Loan Applicant Self-Certification form.The Loan Self-Certification is a form for the student to acquire information about their financial aid. The form allows the loan lender and the Financial Aid Office confirmation that the student understands their financial aid.
- Complete the application for the loan that you choose.
- Turn in the Financial Literacy Certificate & Private Education Loan Applicant Self-Certification Form to the Financial Aid Office. Unfortunately, we can no longer accept forms via email or fax. Please do not email sensitive information. Instead, drop the forms off at the Financial Aid Office or mail them to PO Box 266 Dublin, NC 28332, Attn: Financial Aid Office.
The Financial Aid Office at Bladen Community College will contact the student once the school receives notification that the student has submitted a loan application for certification.
Please note that when completing the loan application that the Financial Aid office can only certify loans that are within one academic year. An academic year is considered the fall, spring and summer terms.

- Apply on-line or come by the lab located in the Financial Aid Office for assistance.
- The Financial Aid Office will give written notice of eligibility.
- Scholarship applications are available in March from the Financial Aid Office and the high school guidance offices.
- Federal Work Study applications are available in the Financial Aid Office.
