You’re Invited to the Annual Bladen Community College Back-to-School Blast on August 16^th, 2025 from 8:00 AM until 12:00 Noon!

Join us for a fun and exciting morning at Bladen Community College as we gear up our children for the new school year! We’ll be giving away mesh backpacks and a wide variety of school supplies to help students, K-12,  start the school year off right.

Parents: If you’ve been considering learning a new skill, pursuing a trade, or starting your college degree, this is a fantastic chance to explore the many programs and opportunities BCC has to offer.

Each year, this event grows in size and impact—and this year, we’re preparing to serve 1,000 students! Please mark your calendars and help us spread the word to your friends, family, and anyone in your network who may want to get involved.

Here’s how you can participate:

• Volunteer: We need helping hands to pass out school supplies during our fun-filled scavenger hunt.

• Be a Community Partner: If you represent an organization with helpful resources, we’d love for you to host a table at our Community Resource Fair in the main auditorium.

• Share a Learning Activity or Demo: Got a creative, educational, or interactive idea? Bring it along and help us make this day memorable!

• Licensed Hair Stylists & Barbers: We’re also looking for licensed professionals to offer basic back-to-school haircuts in our on-campus salon. Please share this opportunity with anyone who might be interested.
