Auditorium Renovation – Fundraising Campaign

Our Past

For more than 50 years, the Bladen Community College Auditorium has been a place where our community gathers to celebrate, perform, and

grow. We have:

  • Hosted graduations and nurse pinning ceremonies

  • Held dance recitals, beauty pageants, and talent shows

  • Been the venue for Battle of the Books, Spelling Bees, and academic
    competitions

  • Shared space for families, schools, and community celebrations

  • Been a longstanding cultural landmark in Bladen County

Our Present

With your gift to the capital fundraising campaign we can reimagine this cherished space for generations to come by:

  • Modernizing and updating the existing auditorium

  • Increasing seating capacity to serve larger audiences

  • Adding a reception hall for forums, dinners, and special events

  • Expanding access to theater and cultural arts programming

  • Opening doors for schools to develop performing arts and enrichment opportunities

Why it Matters

This project ensures arts, culture, and opportunity remain accessible right here in Bladen County by:

  • Keeping events and performances local

  • Creating new opportunities for students and schools

  • Strengthening community pride and connection

  • Preserving a local gathering place

  • Investing in education, culture, and community growth

  • Attracting visitors and events that boost local spending and regional appeal

Be a Part of the Legacy

Your support helps preserve a cherished community landmark while creating new opportunities for arts, education, and connection in Bladen County. Through gifts and naming opportunities, you can leave a lasting impact that will be seen, celebrated, and remembered for generations.

Join us in raising the curtain on the future of our community.
