This scholarship was created to award deserving Information Technology curriculum students on the basis of need and academics.

Scholarship Criteria:

• Submit a scholarship application with two letters of recommendation, one of which is to be from a full-time Bladen Community College Information Technology curriculum instructor.

• Maintain a 3.5 grade point average in the Information Technology curriculum program.

• Be enrolled as a full time student, a minimum of twelve semester hours.

• Be enrolled in the Information Technology curriculum.

• Be a motivated, capable learner who has a demonstrated economic need, as well as having exhausted other resources for financial assiatance. Continue enrollment for the duration of the scholarship.

• Submit an essay stating why the student has chosen to pursue a career in information technology and how they believe that this scholarship will help attain their educational goal.
