Passing the ServSafe National Exam and obtaining certification is often necessary for lab classes and program completion.

 

Most programs are designed to accommodate students with or without prior cooking experience.

 

The program prepares graduates for entry-level positions such as line cook or prep cook. Advancement to roles like sous chef or executive chef usually requires industry experience.

 

If you are seeking a certificate, you can finish it in one semester. You will need to dedicate time to complete course and lab assignments.

 

This program is not offered online.
